With an updated version of their joint album Vultures, Ye and Ty Dolla $ign have made a comeback. The pair released their title track, “Vultures,” in November, the same month that the album was first revealed.
The album’s release date has been repeatedly postponed since then. On January 23, a trailer for Vultures was released on social media by Ye and Dolla $ign on Tuesday. The video, which was created by Jon Rafman, has a modified version of the title track and features a montage of spooky images, including a burning house and a clown sitting in a car.
Additional cuts in the footage show people in black attire strolling through the forest, wolves howling at the moon, and a tongue protruding from an unzipped face mask.

In Ye’s Instagram comments, a lot of people voiced their disapproval of the teaser and contrasted it with Ye’s Jesus is King gospel album from 2019. On social media, Ye and Dolla $ign also disclosed that Vultures will now be published in three volumes rather than as a single full-length album.
It is currently planned for the first volume to come on February 9; the second volume on March 8; and the third and final volume on April 5. Bump J and Lil Durk are featured in the updated version of the song “Vultures,” according to Ye’s agents. A version of the album was previewed during a listening party in Miami in November.
It featured a single that sampled the Backstreet Boys’ “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” and had guest performances from Nicki Minaj, Kodak Black, Playboi Carti, Chris Brown, and Freddie Gibbs.
Following the event, reports surfaced claiming that Minaj turned down having her verse on “New Body” appear on the album and that Ye and Dolla $ign never cleared the Backstreet Boys sample.
